Colleen Adams is the Founder and Executive Director of Empowered Youth. The Empowered Youth Neighborhood Program is an intervention/diversion program that serves inner-city young men between the ages of 13 and 20 years of age, most of whom have been court-ordered to the program.
Colleen’s professional background as an executive in large corporations such as Ralph Lauren, Harper’s BAZAAR Magazine and Perry Ellis International has well prepared her for the challenges of launching a non-profit with a focus on job training and development.
The primary goal of Empowered Youth is to redirect young men from the system and the streets though opportunity. YOUTH TRANSFORMATION THROUGH OPPORTUNITY is the Empowered Youth mantra.
