Stacey Berry is the founder and CEO of Bstellar Consulting Group, which provides soft skills and
community development training. The motto for her company is helping people IGNITE their
Inner Essence. Prior to starting her own business, she worked for the Government of Ontario as
a Government and Public Relations Liaison. She also worked in private and non-profit sectors.
She completed a federal policy internship at Local Initiatives Support Corporation in
Stacey is very passionate about giving back to the community and has 16 years’ experience in
teaching youth and adults from diverse communities. She has designed and taught
professional development seminars at Seneca College and facilitated workshops at United Way
Toronto & York Region. She served as a Director for Black Pearls Community Services Inc.,
volunteered for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Olive Branch of Hope and interned as a
Floor Director, for Rogers TV. She is an Executive Report and contributor for Soulful Image
Magazine. She is a contributor for Where Itz at Magazine based in NYC and serves as a mentor
for Inspire North.
Stacey was appointed to the Toronto Board of Health in 2015 and is a member of Maytree
Foundations’ DiversityOnBoard. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy Administration
and Law and an Honours BA from York University. She also has a diploma in Legal
Administration and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Seneca College.
Stacey received the Outstanding Contribution to Student Experience from York University
Liberal Arts & Professional Studies award in 2015, the Young Leaders Award from Endless
Possibilities of Hope, and recognized as one of the 100 Accomplished Black Women In Canada
in 2016. She was named one of Top 100 Black Women to watch in Canada and recognized by
Sexy Wealthy in Heels as a Finalist for Fab Female Entrepreneurette Awards in 2017.
